In Flux 7.0 and Flux 7.1, when you change the registry_port or server_name value of your Flux engine and monitor the status of your engine through the Operations Console you will need to edit the flux.war's fluxconfig.properties file.

If you are using our provided start-flux-webapp.bat script, you need to go inside of the flux.war file (with a program such as WinZip) and edit the fluxconfig.properties file located in: WEB-INF\classes\fluxconfig.properties. Update the fluxconfig.properties file to point to the appropriate registry_port and server_name.

If you are using Tomcat you can browse directly to the fluxconfig.properties file located in WEB-INF\classes\ and edit that file.

When you restart the Operations Console, it should be able to find your Flux engine.
